We Have The Experience!
We have been a positive force in the neighborhood since 1975, and we are the last Minnesota senior federation standing – and we’re here to stay! Until you join, you won’t know how useful it is to have a network of older adults across the east-central Minnesota counties of Aitkin, Carlton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs and Pine.
Who Does The Work?
A small group of enthusiastic, professional staff members at our office keeps us moving forward, supported by the many dedicated volunteers at our thrift stores. We work for you, towards the common good.
Organized back when almost every town had a Senior Citizens Club, our “Federation” combined their collective power. With today’s generation of older adults, it’s all about the individual, so you can join as a member that way.
Member-Led
Our elected board of delegates are older adults who live in and represent the interests of people living in one of our seven counties. Would you like to be one of them? Just ask!

How We Support Ourselves
Back in 1996 we acquired a thrift store operation from Lakes & Pines Community Action Agency and have grown it to two One More Time stores. Store sales give us a firm financial foundation along with memberships and donations.
Our Most Visible Aspect Is On Paper
Our ECHOES newspaper is a member benefit and connection to issues, events, volunteer openings, discounts and good information.
